The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund Presents Today's Minds, Tomorrow's Future Gala

APIASF hosted the first "Today's Minds, Tomorrow's Future SM" Gala at the beautiful Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City on September 14, 2006.

More than 400 guests attended the gala. APIASF, the primary national organization devoted solely to serving the scholarship needs of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, saluted individuals and corporations for their efforts to ensure that the pursuit of higher education is possible for all Asian and Pacific Islander Americans.

Entertainment was provided by Kenny Endo, master taiko drummer from Hawaii; John Ryan, a 2006 APIASF scholarship recipient; and representatives from the Arya Dance Academy. A silent auction featuring more than 100 items was held during the dinner and grossed more than $13,000.

APIASF would like to thank all the generous sponsors and attendees for making our first gala such a tremendous success.

We hope to see you at next year's gala!
