The 2010-2011 APIASF Scholarship class represents students from 41 states, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia and American Samoa. The Scholars also represent many of the diverse groups within the APIA community including: Cambodian, Chamorro, Chinese, Filipino, Native Hawaiian, Hmong, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Micronesian, Samoan, and Vietnamese. More than 50 percent of recipients are the first in their family to attend college.
